The Persian Star cultivar is a member of the Purple Stripe family. It’s hardy, doing well even in poor soils and harsh conditions, and produces large bulbs when exposed to cold climates. Harvests late in the season. Bulbs average 6-8 cloves.
Its flavour is rich, complex, and mild. It lends itself especially well to roasting and baking.
This variety will last for at least 5-6 months. Store in a cool, dry place, with good air circulation.
